Happy Halloween..

Well my favorite holiday has come and gone. Todd and I were lame and didnt dress up or pass out candy. Instead we went to the Mother and Father-in-laws to help them with their halloween fun! They both had to dress up for work so they had super fun costumes! Nathan and Dylan came over to say happy halloween in their cute outfits too. It was a very fun and exciting Cottle Family Halloween. Mike and Sue dressed up as the Cat and the Hat and a Pirate!! Aarrgg

Halloween was fun this year! Just wait till next year though Todd has agreeded to dress up!!

**Just as a side note my sweet adorable little brother who used to beg me to buy him fish in Walmart and loved to cuddle and watch movies with me dressed up this year in a rather interesting costume!

Cha Cha Slide

This could be the funniest commercial I have ever seen. I would like to dedicate this blog to all the Young Women and Young Men in the Spring Hill TN ward. Every single dance we went to I would drag them to the center of the floor and make them do this dance with me. (yes some actually needed me to "encourage" them) It was by far my favorite moment at the stake dances, well except for when we started the mosh pit to All American Rejects 'Swing Swing'. I miss them TONS, so here you guys go, love you!!

We are movin' on

Thanks to our good friend Brittany Nabrotzky we found the area we want to call home. Its north of the Salt Lake valley, in a little town called Syracuse. Its near Antalope Island and borders the Great Salt Lake. After a couple of try's we finally landed the home of our dreams. It has a little for Todd and a little for Brittany...



This is our 6th move in under 3 years and we can officially say WE ARE DONE!! (or at least for a little while anyways) We are are moving in the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Man move and prepare a Thanksgiving meal..I must be the complete package. (or at least thats what Todd tells me) We will update with more photos once we start moving in and get a little more settled.

Upgrade..

After a many three and half years, two batteries and 2 extended batteries the time had finally come. It was hard to say goodbye but we both knew it was best. Goodbye LG 6100 and hello new LG enV!




So there you have it. I defiantly got an upgrade. No longer can all of you make fun of me and say my phone is prehistoric!! I know this is a bit of a silly blog but this was a HUGE step for me!

The day has finally arrived!! All you pickle lovers out there have many reasons to be thankful this Thanksgiving. My Aunt Amy (really my friend/sister from another mister) was shopping out in Phoenix and stumbled over this and thought I might like to see. Well did I ever, not only am I excited but I wanted to give you guys a reason to get excited. So without further ado I would like to introduce you to the greatest idea of all time....


Yes it's what you think. Dill pickles in pudding snack packaging. This means we can now have pickles anywhere we are. We can travel and not have to go without feeding our craving! Man today is a great day!

Fall break has come and gone...

School has been keeping me super crazy so when Fall Break came around it was welcomed with open arms. Since I had two extra days off Todd took them off at work and we headed up to Idaho to visit the White's. Trent and Tonya have been friends of Todd's for about 14 years now. They have 3 adorable boys, Dukati, Anderson and Zanlan. They really showed us how to have a good time..

We got there Thursday night and went straight to the circus. Ringley and Barnes circus was a lot of fun. The boys loved it and we all had a super time. Here are the pics to prove it...

When we finally made it up the mountain we had a great time. Trent and Tonya have a usual spot up near Idaho City so thats where we went. It was a lot of fun but boy oh boy was it super super cold! The first day was border line miserable for me but I was amazed at how these kids don't feel a thing. We had a lot of fun riding around in the snow.

Labor Day was Awesome!!!!

**i know this was about a month ago but i have been super busy and haven't had a chance to update in a while. i swear i started writing this the weekend after it happened. better late than never right??**

Well we had a wonderful Labor Day weekend!! We headed up to the ever so lovely Idaho. Our friends Chuck and Bev have a cabin about an hour and a half East of Rexburg. Todd met Kaylee and I up there (he was working in Montana) on Friday and we stayed until late Monday afternoon. The weekend was full of four-wheeling, movies, and delicious cooking. It was super relaxing for Todd and I, but Kaylee wasn't so lucky. The chipmunks and squirrels would not leave her alone. They would wait until she was in the house and almost asleep and then run back and forth in front of the glass door just to tease her. She came close to catching one but fell a little shy!! Better luck next time Kaylee.

On Saturday we went out riding and came across a moose. Thats right ladies and gentlemen we were riding minding our own business and all of a sudden off to our right was a beautiful moose. It was so fun and I think they are just as curious as we are. We stopped and watched him for about 10 minutes and he just sat there watching us.

(this isn't him but it looks an awful lot like him. we didn't want him to think we were going to shoot him so we left our camera in the cargo area of our four wheeler)

Then on Sunday we went for yet another 4wheeler ride and happened to come across a wonderfully large black bear!! i don't know if any of you have seen one, but they are awfully intimidating. We were just riding and minding our own business when all of a sudden Todd screams 'oh my gosh, oh my gosh' and the four wheeler comes to a dead stop! I look ahead and see the back half of a black bear running into a forest area. I asked my very manly and super rugged husband to approach the clearing where the bear ran in, but sadly this is the response I heard, "are you kidding me we are not moving". I guess I found the one thing Todd is scared of..BLACK BEARS. It was amazing and a wonderful surprise.

Todd and I had a really great time. Who knew the outdoors could be so much fun??
