Morning Dew..

I have had a lot of busyness going on in my life (this past month in particular) and haven't had the chance to take in a breath. So with that being said I wanted to take a moment to count my blessings..

(this is more therapeutic for me than anything else so feel free to skip this blog)

1. I love my dear sweet husband and the way he treats me. Especially when he is busy at work and I am having a terrible day and he still takes the time to step out to calm me down (and in a way no one else can).
2. I love my sweet Kaylee and Addie and their nonjudgmental attitude towards me. Even if I have been ignoring them or I smell terrible they still want my love and attention. Aren't animals wonderful?!?
3. I love going back to school and having the chance to learn more about things that had never interested me until now. (physics in particular)

4. I love my dear friends. I haven't had a chance to call too many people my best friend but I am so glad to have Brittany Nabrotzky in my life. She is honest to goodness the most kind hearted and thoughtful person I have ever met. No matter whats going on in her life she takes a minute to calm me down and for that I am eternally thankful.

5. I am grateful for books and the release they give me from life. I have recently had a chance to go back and look at the kids books I read as a kid. (Does anyone remember, Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day).
6. I love Sunday mornings. The calming and peaceful break it gives from a long and busy week.

7. I love Cafe Rio for their ever so delicious roast beef salad. It never fails to put a smile on my face.

8. I love watching babies look at their mom or dad when they are unsure of something. I love the smile they can bring to anyones face. I love the way that they seem to brighten any room they enter.

9. I love seeing the dew on the morning grass and watching Kaylee run and run while trying to lick up all the dew that she can.
10. And finally I am so glad that I have the opportunity to remember the happy and exciting things in life. No matter how life seems to treat me I have always had the chance to smile and for that I am thankful.

BYU Idaho!!!

(Todd, Kaylee and I sending Maegan off )

Well the day has finally arrived. My baby sister, Maegan, is off at college! I cant believe it but it is true. She is an amazing young women and I couldn't be prouder.

Maegan, my Mom, and my Grammy came to Utah for the weekend as a pit stop on their journey north to Idaho! Is was a lot of fun and I am sad they couldn't stay longer. Thursday my Mom, Maegan, and I went shopping for the essentials which spilled over to shopping on Friday, and Saturday they were off to BYU Idaho.

Maegan is doing well and liking the "college" scene. Her first class is tonight and she is really looking forward to it.

(Todd, Grammy and I)

(My sweet Mom)

Maegan's dorm room is really neat. She lucked out and got the 2 room suite. There are two bedrooms and 4 girls, they have their own bath, kitchen, and living area. She is liking her roomies so far!!

(super nice bath for a college dorm room right??)

(their super awesome kitchen)

(and her bunk and desk)

Todd keeps teasing Maegan saying she is going to get engaged within the next 6 months, but she isnt having that. No matter what she decides she will do great things. We love you Maegan and wish you good luck. Here Here...

**by the way Todd and I had just woken up and were extremely tired so thats why our faces look a little dazed**
